Why this petition matters

Started by Jaime Walker

The LGB Alliance have applied for official charity status.

We ask that the Charity Commission reject this application.

The LGB alliance is an organisation which states that any person identifying outside lesbian, bisexual or gay is ‘gender extremism’.  LGB Alliance believe in the concept of ‘adult human female’ which disregards trans people.

LGB Alliance is a political campaign organisation, the main aim of the campaign is seemingly to remove trans people from LGBT. Since formation as a Limited Company in late 2019, LGB Alliance has campaigned against the Gender Recognition Act.  The Gender Recognition Act has no real effect on anyone other than making the lives of trans people a bit easier.

Further information around the LGB Alliance can be found here:

The LGB alliance has called for the equality act to be reviewed around ‘same-sex’ rights.  The changes around the equality act would have consequences for all minority groups.

More information can be found here:

We ask that Baroness Tina Stowell and the Charity Commission considers the views of the signatures on this petition.  As a CIS lesbian I stand with the trans community as others do in the LGBTQ community.

The LGB alliance believes this petition has mislead a large amount of people to sign.  My main occupation is a nurse I do not have a big platform and I have no political agenda.  The reason I started this petition is because the trans community belongs with LGBT.  The petition has been shared thousands of times through no doing of my own or miscommunication.
