Why this petition matters
SABO Design Associates is proposing (full proposal hyperlink) to change the zoning of 102 Oak St from Residential Medium Density/Historic to a Special Planning District in order to incorporate four 16 Unit Apartment buildings standing 4 stories high and 105 parking spaces.
The Loveland Planning and Zoning Commission has approved the developer's application in that the proposal meets one of three requirements to move forward with a public hearing. Changing the zoning requirements here has significant negative affects on the environment, infrastructure, economics and Loveland community; and sets a precedent for future zoning changes that do not fall within the scope and purpose of SPD zoning use.
