The original Resident Evil is iconic. And while the first HD remaster did serve it justice, the recent remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3 bring to light how much better over the shoulder camera is than the clunky tank controls featured in the original RE games. Also, the scene of the zombie slowly turning its head is iconic enough already, but imagine seeing it in crystal clear 4K UHD. The main Resident Evil games tend to work in trilogies. 1-3 had tank controls, 4-6 had over the shoulder, and 7 and most likely 8 and 9 are/will be in first person. If Capcom is going to REmake 2 and 3, then they should really go for the original too. Not only would it be a fan's dream, it would be a HUGE marketing win if done properly. If Resident Evil is remade in 4K ots view like 2 + 3, fans would flock to it. Not to mention all the cool trilogy collectors sets they could make!!! PLEASE CAPCOM MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!!!
