The Ordo Templi Orientis Inc., (O.T.O.) under the leadership of William Breeze, claims to be the present owner of the manuscript of the Book of the Law, a religious text said to have been received by Aleister Crowley in 1904.

This manuscript marks the central magico-religious text of adherents to Thelema. As such the study of this text forms a central practice for Thelemites. The O.T.O. has made black and white photos of the manuscript available in their published editions of the Book of the Law, as dictated by the text. However, the quality of these photos is low and makes important scholastic and religious investigations of the text impossible.

As the O.T.O. has not and will not make the manuscript available for use by Thelemites and interested scholars the simplest solution would be providing a high-quality digital scan in full color available to all interested parties. This could be done cheaply with current technology and would be a major good faith effort by the O.T.O.
