Over the past year teams across the country have worked on and off the ice to make it to the National Championships. These are once in a lifetime opportunities that make memories and great hockey moments. Players and coaches have been non stop working to achieve the goal of making it to Nationals and they have played in many hard fought games to be able to claim their spot at Nationals.

All that hard work is now being thrown away by USA Hockey. These players and coaches have devoted countless hours to hard work on and off the ice. This decision throws away all that hard work. We spend thousands of dollars each year to compete around the country and to pay for equipment. 

We are asking that the National Championships for all groups are rescheduled and teams are awarded their chance to compete for the National Championship that they have devoted many hours of their lives to. It is unfair to all the players who have worked so hard to make it this far. We are being robbed the opportunity to travel to new places, meet new people and ultimately try to bring home a championship through the sport that we all love. 

We understand the health situation and how serious it is. We are simply asking that when the situation gets better that USA Hockey can reschedule instead of fully canceling these events.
