We believe Stephen Miller, the architect of the most brutal aspects of President Trump’s immigration policy (including locking children in cages during a pandemic), has clearly violated international human rights law. We are asking the International Criminal Court to try him for crimes against humanity, in order to set an example to any other countries that might consider following such a policy in the future. We also think it would help demonstrate that no matter how “exceptional” Americans may believe themselves to be, they still are not above international law. For both these reasons, we are asking the ICC to prosecute Stephen Miller to the fullest extent of the law. As an American citizen myself, I am ashamed of what Miller and the Trump Administration has done in our country’s name.
