In mid October it came to light that two circus elephants owned by notorious circus family the Casselly's perished in Hungary allegedly from suffocation. Despite comprehensive searches we are unable to discover any news report relating to these deaths nor gather any information surrounding the circumstances other than the incident occurred in late September.

The Casselly family have posted no information nor expressions of sorrow. Something is not right!

Over the years many concerns relating to the welfare of these elephants have been raised, videos have emerged showing the elephants being struck and stabbed with sharp instruments.A video depicting a very sickly looking Mambo pulling sleds in the snow drew wide condemnation as have Rene Casselly's exploitative acrobatic stunt videos with the elephants.

Two elephants don't just die and it's clear the Casselly family are trying to hide these suspicious deaths from the public.

We demand that the relevant Hungarian authorities conduct a full investigation of these elephant deaths and hold any culpable parties to account.
