Please sign this petition calling on Government to scrap the proposed closure of 1,000 railway station ticket offices including at Northwich and Runcorn, in my neighbouring constituency.

There's no thought for elderly, disabled and vulnerable passengers who rely on traditional customer service at Northwich Station, which already has accessibility issues.

Having that physical presence provides safety and reassurance for the travelling public as well as advice and help.

Let’s also spare a thought for the thousands of rail staff whose jobs could be at risk, including employees in our community.

Please sign this petition and stop this national closure plan that will affect my constituents who use both Northwich and Runcorn main stations.
