Why this petition matters

Started by Caitlyn E

Vanessa Guillen was a 20 year old U.S Army soldier who went missing on April 22, 2020 from Fort Hood Army base in Killeen, Texas. Vanessa planned on filing a harassment complaint against Sgt. Aaron David Robinson the day after she was killed. Vanessa allegedly confronted Aaron about having an affair with Cecily Aguilar who was married to a former soldier. Aaron bludgeoned her to death with a hammer in the armory room where she was working. Aaron called Cecily to help him dispose of her body. Together, Aaron and Cecily dismembered her body and buried her in a shallow grave near the Leon River. On July 1, 2020 she was arrested in Bell County, Texas. SHE HAS SINCE BEEN OUT ON BOND! Aaron Robinson killed himself once they found her remains and now the woman who helped dismember her is free! Vanessa and her family must receive Justice and ALL people involved in this tragedy must be held accountable and be sent to jail. Vanessa was not the only person killed due to sexual abuse, in the military and in the Fort Hood Base. We demand justice and demand that the Fort Hood Base be closed. The fact that she went missing and the Army did not search for her for MONTHS. This is but a small portion of a larger web that the Army is covering up. Vanessa was a woman with a beautiful soul who did not deserve this and was let down by the same agency she devoted herself to. Something must be done! We are trying to reach Mayor Jose Segarra, City Attorney Kathryn Davis, Chief of Police Charles Kimble, and DA Henry  Garza and demand that not only Cecily Aguilar, but all other people involved in the death of Vanessa Guillen be arrested and charged. Please help get justice for Vanessa and her family.
