Mike's Badhuistheater is a very succesful Community Theatre in Amsterdam.

It has a special place in Amsterdam culture,because it represents many different cultural groups.Old and Young. Normally it sells out all its productions, making it a 90% Independant location. But the Corona Lockdown means it cannot earn the money to pay its Bills.Amsterdam,and all major European Cities, need these local institutions more than ever during the crisis .They offer and maintain hope in the communities. A single grant of 11 thousand euros will be enough to continue through the winter and into 2021 and cater for the needs of the Community.

Mike's Badhuistheater is een zeer succesvol Internationaal Community Theater in Amsterdam. Het heeft een speciaal plekje binnen de Amsterdamse kunstcultuur, omdat het veel verschillende culturele groepen representeert van jong tot oud. Veel verschillende theatergroepen die spelen in het Badhuistheater brengen verschillende achtergronden bij elkaar. Het Badhuistheater is uniek in Amsterdam omdat het opwindend, actueel en meeslepend Theater brengt. De theatergroepen die spelen bij het Badhuistheater zijn ook opwindend, en actueel .  Dit is heel belangrijk in de sociale democratie van Amsterdam. Het Badhuistheater heeft niet genoeg subsidie om de kosten te dekken die komen bij het sluiten wegens het Corona virus. Normaal gesproken verkoopt elke productie uit, wat er voor kan zorgen dat het theater 90% van haar vaste lasten kan dekken d.m.v. kaart- en horecaverkoop. Simpelweg staat dit nu stil en is het onmogelijk om onze vaste lasten momenteel op deze manier te verdienen. Amsterdam heeft net als veel andere grote Europese steden plekken zoals Mike's Badhuistheater, Community theater , meer dan ooit nodig .Wij waren genoodzaakt gesloten te blijven voor 4 maanden in 2020.. Een eenmalige betaling van elf duizend euro, zal genoeg zijn om te kunnen doorgaan in het winter van 2020  tot 2021 en de vaste lasten tot die tijd te dekken. Kies voor ons voor het te laat is.
