Dear Minister of Transportation,

With profound respect, I would like to bring your attention to one of most critical concern which is faced by all the immigrants who migrate from UAE with a valid driver license.

As I can see Ontario has driver license exchange agreement with EU, UK, Australia etc. and immigrants coming from these countries are availing the facility of this exchange program, while some of those countries not even have the Right-Hand Traffic, which in turn affects the overall shift in some rules of the traffic.

At the moment Ontario does not have a Driver License Exchange Agreement with UAE. The fact is UAE also has one of the best driving systems and adheres to the international driving standards, rules and safety regulations. The immigrants with UAE driver license have a far superior experience of driving on Highways and internal roads, but unfortunately cannot take advantage of converting it to Ontario driver license due to absence of exchange agreement.

Recently, UK has added UAE as reciprocal driver license exchange agreement after assessing the UAE driving standards and regulations. If Canada also adds UAE to exchange agreement, it will be a big relief and blessing for all immigrants coming to Canada from UAE with the dream of making this blissful land their home.

I humbly request you to acknowledge my appeal and address my concern in best way possible.
