Time's up! Climate changes are already affecting people and our ecosystem.

There are many ways we can fight this but sometimes politics have too much power and leave us powerless. However, there is one thing we can do to reduce our impact on the environment, the single biggest thing. We could simply avoid animal products (meat, fish, dairy, eggs..). Scientists have proven that animal agriculture is responsible for 18 percent of greenhouse gas [1].

And even in within the plant kingdom, some choices are better than others. If you live in Belgium and you buy Belgian strawberries rather than Spanish ones, your choices will have a lower impact on the environment, e.g. the food didn't have to travel that long for you to buy it.

Therefore, the urgent need for climate labels [2] that score each of the food products we find in our supermarket. In this way, people would be more conscious about the impact that their choices have on the planet.
