The Road Cycling World Championships are the biggest annual single-city sporting event in the world!

But the Opportunity is bigger than a bike race!  Hosting this event will bring the Community together, Re-energize the Bike-movement, Provide an Economic Boost, and Showcase the region to millions of people around the world, contributing to Tourism, Business Development, and future Athletic Events. 

We are projecting over 450,000 spectators for the 9 days of racing, with over 225,000 lining the course for the Men's Elite Road Race.  We are also forecasting an Economic Impact over $100M in the 4 years leading up to, and including the races!  

PDX Cycling Worlds is a 501c3 non-profit, with a goal of donating money to programs that encourage, inspire and enable people to become cyclists-  for their health, for the environment, and for fun.
