Bob's Tree has been in place, unbothered and taken care of for over a year. Why now is the family getting told to remove it?  The tree is in memory of Bob and is important to his family, friends and community. Plus I do recall this house being a multi time winner in the park district Halloween and Christmas decorating contests over the years, why are their decorations now all of a sudden an issue? The family has already lost a husband, father and grandfather;  now they have to lose their memorial to him as well? Cold-hearted, unfounded in ordinances, and quite frankly a waste of Alsip's resources and tax payers' money by having the police come out to this family's home.
