Make Teamviewer's Commercial flagging policy more reasonable
Make Teamviewer's Commercial flagging policy more reasonable
Why this petition matters
I really hope TV will rework the current "commercial use" flagging system into something more reasonable.
At the moment, life is just being made worse for users AND TeamViewer.
What we need is:
- Less faulty "detection" / more real-life realistic definition of commercial use, to avoid those countless false positives in the first place
- Dedication to resolving the logged issues. Replying to people. Following through.
- Once a user gets restored as free, which ever steps led to the initial flagging need to be whitelisted for that user, otherwise it'll just happen again
The current policy is crippling free use and driving people away.
we used to like TV because it was easy to have friends and family set it up and to connect to them, or to access our different machines from anywhere.
TeamViewer, you claim you do not want to cancel the free use model, but what you are doing right now is effectively that.
Do the right thing and implement the above steps, and take all the free users seriously.
We urge you to work this into a realistic, reasonable solution, not a revolving-door-system of rampant automated blanket denial, followed by half-hearted manual revision, followed by the same misguided policy all over again.
Thank you.
