Approximately two weeks ago Milly Berst aka @millywebdeveloper on Instagram had her account taken down by Instagram.

Their reason for disabling it was that they said she was pretending to be someone else. She wasn't and that is her account with pictures of herself.

It is worth noting that she had been using that account for over 4 years, had acquired over 25,200 followers and posted over 700 photos of herself not to mention countless stories with her in it.

Unfortunately Instagram has not responded to the request to appeal it, nor have they responded to her emails or mine.

We fully support the user terms and community guidelines as they are important in protecting each and every one of us as a whole.

But unfortunately, instagram has made a mistake in this case and wish the narrative to be very clear that we all know and miss Milly's presence as she is a very integral and very REAL part of our online community. 

For those of us who do not know Milly that well, we still wish it to be known that it is important to us that Instagram do the right thing and protect Milly as a legitimate community member and reinstate her instagram account @millywebdeveloper.

She is not fake and there are numerous community members, myself included, that can attest to that.

Please reinstate her account.
