Why this petition matters

Started by Larry Hubich

For nearly 4 months now, 730 dedicated Saskatchewan workers at the Coop Refinery in Regina have been locked out while their employer attempts to gut their pension plan.

Our province is facing a growing global pandemic and the company has hundreds of workers (from across the country) confined in close quarters in an onsite scab camp doing the jobs of the locked out workers.

Mr. Premier, in this time of crisis and the need for unity, we need you to put an end to the FCL/Coop Refinery lockout and to legislate the special mediator’s recommendations to bring about a settlement with the members of Unifor Local 594.

The health and lives of Saskatchewan citizens depend on your swift action to end this dispute.
