STOP EXPLOITING BLACK CULTURE!!

OUR SOLUTION TO STOPPING THE EXPLOITATION OF BLACK CULTURE IS BY ADMINISTERING CULTURAL CERTIFICATIONS.

An Originals Certification is a cultural license and stamp acknowledging a company’s usage of black culture to create, market or sell their products. The certification symbolizes a company’s acknowledgment of black culture’s value coupled with a commitment to redistribute a portion of profits towards improving the economic condition of the diaspora.  It’s designed to prevent the commercial exploitation of black culture. While providing an equitable pathway for corporations to contribute to overcoming systemic oppression, in a perpetual non-charitable manner.

Free enterprise permits the practice of exploiting a group’s culture for economic gain without requiring acknowledgment nor equitable reciprocity. Similar to slavery, the culture of so called black people is leveraged by corporations to drive exponential profits. We see this tactic demonstrated in the marketing of sports, entertainment, fashion, cosmetics, food, tech, etc..

The problematic archaic thinking that fuels the grinding mill of exploiting black culture must be held accountable to redistribute a portion of economic resources to the consumer group they commercialize. 

It's not sustainable to protest when corporations like Gucci, H&M, Popeyes, NFL or Hollywood exploit black culture for substantial gains. Instead, we must offer corporations a way to restore equity back to the culture. 

A Cultural Certification is an excellent tool for protecting, preserving and perpetuating the economic interest of Original People. Similar to the K for Kosher or H for Halal symbols that certify food products, the Originals stamp acknowledges the economic value of black culture on products.

Our process to administer Originals certifications consist of:

1. Identifying companies that profit from black culture
2. Utilize data to verify black cultures economic impact
3. Offer company officers an equity restoration strategy
4. Issue certification labels to display on products
5. Redistribute certification license fees to programs that restore the economic condition of black culture

In the spirit of conscious consumerism to undo economic injustice, IT'S TIME TO RESTORE EQUITY.
