Currently, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our economy has taken a huge hit that will take us years to recover from. I propose that marijuana be legalized at the federal level and regulated similar to alcohol and tobacco to provide our economy much needed relief during this time. This would create a whole new industry (new jobs) as well as provide billions in tax revenue.
