Black plastic is widely used in the UK, particularly for food retail.  Most local authorities do not have the technology to recycle it, meaning that each tray, lid, pot and bottle is burned or buried after being used just once.

Black is the colour of choice because it makes the food look better!  It is unnecessary and unwanted.  While single-use plastic is always undesirable, at least other colours can be recycled.

Ask parliament to stop this happening.  We don't need it or want it.
