Save Paradise - save Paradise Dam
Save Paradise - save Paradise Dam
Why this petition matters
Bundaberg and the Wide Bay Burnett region is one of Australia’s major food bowls, employing over 5000 people and injecting billions into the Queensland economy.
If Paradise Dam can’t maintain the current water supply, growers will reduce the crops they grow and the future dollars they invest in our local community.
We’ll lose jobs not just on the farms but in our towns.
Many of these farms have existed for generations and are the lifeblood of our local community, what happens if they close?
We’re speaking up now – it’s time for our voice to be heard. We want the State Government to listen.
We want a safe dam that promotes growth, investment and prosperity.
Regional towns across Queensland are under threat – everyone knows when the jobs go the community can fall apart. It’s hard for a town to get back on its feet when jobs are lost.
Thank you for taking the time to sign this petition. It means the world to us in Bundy and Wide Bay and across regional Queensland.
