CBC has the mandate to provide the service everywhere, but does not do it. I asked them to transmit the signal for free via satellite, but I have no response from them, so I conclude that they refuse. However, CBC continues to search our pockets for funding, so I would suggest that CBC, behaving like a private television channel, that the public funding be withdrawn and that it becomes truly private.

We, the tax-paying signatories, are asking the federal government to withdraw all public funding from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and turn it into a private television channel because it does not respect its mandate to Canadian society.

La Société Radio-Canada  a le mandat de fournir partout le service, mais ne le fait pas. Je leurs ai demandé de transmettre le signal gratuitement par satellite, mais je n'ai aucune réponse de leurs part, alors j'en conclu qu'ils refusent. Cependant, La Société Radio-Canada continue de fouiller dans nos poche pour le financement, alors je serais d'avis que La Société Radio-Canada  , se comportant comme une chaine de télévision privé, que le financement publique lui soit retiré et qu'elle devienne réellement privé.

Nous, les signataires, payeurs d’impôts demandons au gouvernement fédéral de retirer tout financement publique à la Société Radio-Canada, et d'en faire une chaîne de télévision privé puisque celle-ci ne respecte pas son mandat envers la société canadienne.
