Why this petition matters

Started by Oliver Bieser

Deforestation in South American countries continues, especially in Paraguay. People are cutting down trees in the Amazon rain forest there, and for what? To make beef. That's right, that juicy cheeseburger that you just bit into may have been made through the deforestation of the Amazon. Farming agencies big and small do this to increase the number of products that they sell, while decreasing the number of trees. And as the number of trees decrease, so does the number of animals. But despite this, the government does noting to stop it. And you, yeah you, can help with the click of a button, to solve a global problem. We can get government agencies such as the EPA to have these companies to stop killing the animals of South America, if we can just get the signatures.
