We, the undersigned, hereby appeal to the Las Vegas Review-Journal to spend whatever money is necessary to retain the services of Michael Gehlken as its Oakland Raiders (soon to be Las Vegas Raiders) beat writer. Over the many months he has been covering the Raiders, Mr. Gehlken has established himself as the premier source of accurate, unbiased, timely reporting on the Raiders and the NFL, and his loss would be a loss not only for the Review-Journal, but for Raider Nation as a whole. Every effort should be made to keep him in Vegas covering the Raiders.
