Last year, Freeform came to the decision to cancel Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists. The show ended on a huge cliffhanger, leaving fans wanting more. Their decision came as a shock to many fans as the show received decent ratings considering it was not promoted enough by its network, Freeform aired the show the same night and time as another very popular teen show, Riverdale and FreeForm is an unpopular network with shows having an average of 200,000 viewers considered good. The title of the show left many thinking they’d have to watch the entire series of Pretty Little Liars before beginning Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists when in actual fact, that is not the case. The one season the show got left us with many unanswered questions, which fans to this day are still keen to get answered. A new villain, “The Professor”, was introduced in the last episode leaving many eager for more to see what their plan was and who they were. We believe the show would do amazing on a streaming service because the use of Cable TV is dying down with everyone streaming instead. The Perfectionists did amazing and even trended on Hulu which goes to show a second season on a streaming service would do great!
