Lewis Hamilton showed himself to be a racer. Max Verstappen showed himself to be a racer.

When they collided at Copse Corner in the British F1 GP this year it ended badly for Max and that was a shame. Fortunately he is okay. But it was a racing incident with two championship hopefuls, the only two championship hopefuls for 2021, not giving an inch.

Sadly, Christian Horner, the boss of Red Bull, the team Max drives for has taken the incident very badly. He believes Lewis was to blame and the punishment he received was just not sufficient (a ten second penalty). It seems that, despite his efforts, the stewards and officials at the FIA have decided that the penalty was sufficient and it is time to move on.

I did consider asking people to contribute to covering some of the cost Red Bull incurred (an estimated £1.8 million pounds to create a new car from the crash damage) but given most of that was the Bose Sound System then I figure we need to do something more permanent for Christian.

It is time for 'Horner Corner'!
