A new handball rule came in to effect during the 2019-20 football season, where during a phase of play, if a player from the attacking team unintentionally touches the ball, and it leads to their team scoring a “goal”, then this “goal” would not count. For example if a player is standing still, with his/her hands clasped together, and covering their belly button area, and the ball is struck against their hand, or if a player is pushed to the ground, and to prevent them face planting the ground, they instinctively put their arms out to protect themselves, and the ball is kicked against their arms, or many other instances, which leads to a goal, it would be disallowed. 
Football is about passion, support, emotions, skill and much more. This rule is ruining the game for millions of fans around the world. It’s no longer the beautiful game, but a game that’s decided by officials sitting behind a screen in an office. These decisions obviously psychologically affect the players, which in turn effects the end result.
This rule needs to be scrapped or significantly altered, to if a player intentionally touches the ball, then it should be deemed as handball.

The authorities within the game, must get together and change this immediately, to protect the simplicity and love of the game.
