This petition was made in order to stop the contracts and remove DOTTS Garage from the city of Albany. This owners of this company are known active member/affiliates of"the proud boys". The Proud Boys are a far-right neo-fascist organization that promote/engages in violent and discriminatory practices. In 2017 the creater of the group distanced himself , saying the alt-right's focus is race while his focus is what he defines as "Western values". The group believes men—especially white men—and Western culture are under siege. Members have participated in multiple racist events and are centered around anti-left violence.The organization glorifies violence. The Southern Poverty Law Center has called it an "alt-right fight club". In 2018 the FBI classified the Proud Boys as an extremist group with ties to white nationalism, along with NPR'S takeaway labeling them a hate group. Recently the owners of Coccadotts the same owners of DOTTS Garage has made an appearance on social media broadcasting a trump cake. Pervious articles are listed below.The proud boys as well as other white supremacy groups have infiltrated the capital region. They are directly connected through contracts with law enforcement and City official. Public examples are DOTTS Garage, The Grace Baptist Church and Bumpys Parlor Freeze. Each of these parties have shown racist tendencies and biases on a broad public scale and are still allowed to operate within the city.The Grace Baptist Church is one of their main meeting locations. This petition is to demand a no tolerance for any racial, sexual or religious discrimination within all businesses inside of the County of Albany, Schenectady or Rensselaer. This petition demands that the mayor of each City implements this change through an executive order.This petitions demands that D.A David Soars request assistance from The Attorney General and The United States Department of Justice to investigate this group as well as associated parties. The Grace Baptist Church has been supplying their ranks with weapon as they continue to spread out and infiltrate our community. This has alarmed your community. If he fails to meet this demand we demand that Mayor Kathy Sheehan request for assistance Herself.
