For more than half a century the most Iconic American automotive brand in history has been based on the same concept: American V8 horsepower up front & burnt rubber in the back. 

Today Ford Motor Company wants to introduce the so called "Mustang Mach-E" an all electric crossover SUV built in Mexico. It isn't clear yet exactly what this means for the future of the standard Mustang but it's clear what they have in mind.

We have to tell them that we will not accept this EV crossover as a Mustang.

We do not have to demand that they discontinue the vehicle entirely, as there isn't anything inherently wrong with the car itself. But it doesn't take an auto engineer to tell you, that's no Mustang. 

For over 50 years, thousands of brilliant engineers & designers have poured years of their careers into this brand. Millions upon millions of fans have poured their heart and soul into these cars. The Mustang is more than just a car, it is a part of what makes us who we are. We cannot let Ford disrespect us, we cannot lest them disrespect the Mustang.

For all the memories, for all the blood, sweat and tears that made the Mustang what it is, and us who we are. It's our turn to give back. Save the Mustang.
