Recently, it has been announced that Johnny Depp, who has played Grindelwald in the Fantastic Beasts-- a Warner Brothers franchise for the past two films, has been asked by W.B. to step down, to which he agreed. However, his ex-wife, Amber Heard, who plays Mera in DC's-- another W.B. franchisee-- Aquaman. There is speculation as to why Johnny Depp was asked to step down, but the most obvious and likely speculation is due to the court case involving Depp and Heard, where Heard has falsely accused and claimed Depp abused her, when in reality it was the opposite situation happening. Now, it doesn't make sense as to why they would ask Depp to step down, but not Heard. It's a ridiculous double standard that shouldn't exist, and it's not right that one person's career should be affected by a false accusation. There is evidence that shows Heard was the abuser, and not Depp, which is why Amber Heard should be fired or asked to step down, and Johnny Depp should be rehired. People who sign this petition, we can show that this is what should happen, if this gets enough signatures to be able to be recognized and even considered, because W.B. will lose a lot of money now over this. There will be people boycotting those movie franchises due to this.
