Eurovision 2020 has been announced as cancelled, for understandable reasons. The health and welfare of all involved has been considered and this does not go unappreciated.

However, 41 songs, delegations, artists and songwriters will not have their moment. They will not have their hard-earned spot in Eurovision history, that they rightfully earned.

It's not safe for us all to be together physically, but why can't we do it virtually? It's the 21st century. Let's move Eurovision to the internet and make it an online contest this year. Keep the spirits of the eurofans and creatives alive during these stressful times. As Duncan Laurence said "music first, always".
