The promotion at https://fios.verizon.com/fios-plans.html shows that for $94.99 per month with auto-pay and a 2-year contract, Verizon will provide gigabit Internet service, a telephone line and “Preferred” TV with 255 channels. This promotion does not say that you will have to pay an additional $10 a month for a set-top box and $12 a month for a router.  Furthermore, your final bill will include additional fees and taxes of $20 to $30. Your actual bill for a functional Internet, phone and TV service will be more than $135 instead of $95.  The advertised price of $95 per month is clearly fraudulent because the customer cannot have Internet and the “Preferred” TV service without a router ($12 per month) and at least one set-top box ($10 per month).  The honest price for what is offered should say “$116.99 plus fees and taxes” and should warn that extra set-top boxes for more than one TV cost $10 each and a DVR costs an additional $12 per month. Sign this petition to demand that Verizon change it's advertising to reflect the true costs!
