The NBA family lost an amazing friend,role model,leader and player Kobe Bryant, on January 26th due to a tragic Helicopter crash. His 13 year old daughter Gianna 'GIGI' Bryant was also on board alongside her teammate and parent. Kobe was a Charlotte Hornet for a week back in 1996, before being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. With that being said, in this difficult time i believe the Hornets should honor Kobe by retiring his Jersey #8.
