(Trigger Warning: Graphic Content) WATCH THE VIDEO HERE. When Akbar Rogers said, "I can't breathe," the cops responded "Fuck You." On December 3rd, 2019, Akbar Rogers, a beloved member of the Freeport, Long Island community was beaten and tased with his pants down by multiple Freeport, Long Island cops. We are calling for an investigation into this brutal beating. Six months later NONE of these cops have been investigated or arrested, one of whom is the son of the Mayor of Freeport. These cops are still patrolling the community and have been given the green light to commit violence, while ironically only Akbar Rogers was arrested for "assaulting them." If not for the video he would be in jail today.  However, If nothing is done, if no one speaks up,  he will be prosecuted for a felony, while video evidence clearly proves his innocence. 

We are sending this petition to the Nassau County District Attorney Office to push for the investigation and arrest of these Freeport, Long Island officers.
