A Second Chance at Freedom and forgiveness...From Disgrace to Redemption...
A Second Chance at Freedom and forgiveness...From Disgrace to Redemption...
Why this petition matters
In Life, we all do things that we regret and are ashamed of. Sometimes we can make poor judgements and mistakes that create damage that's not easily repaired. However, every human being has the capacity for change, redemption, and personal transformation. Our society is a society that is based on Religious values that advocate forgiveness and the opportunity for a second chance through redemption. In saying that, we believe that Ezekiel Thomas who has been incarcerated for twenty-seven years and who has made a remorse driven transformation in his life is deserving of such a second chance. Ezekiel since incarcerated has made not only changed his mind but has also changed his relationship with society from negative to positive. He has worked with law enforcement to help stop violence behind prison walls, he has achieved numerous academic and vocational awards and he has created programs to help his fellow inmates change their lives. We believe that Mr. Thomas' life is deserving of a second chance at freedom in society. He is remorseful and repentant for his past mistakes and because of these things we believe he is deserving of forgiveness. If you believe that Mr. Thomas is deserving of a second chance in life of the personal life transformation that he has made, then please sign this petition. Thanks so much and God Bless.
