【全港聯署 全民抗疫】

民間人權陣線、民主派立法會議員、民主派區議會正副主席發起聯署，促請政府收緊入境政策！昨晚(27日)中大醫學院已發出聲明，促請香港政府進一步收緊入境政策，以減低跨境傳播風險。民陣希望香港市民進一步參與是次聯署，要求香港封關、加強強制檢疫以及醫學監察，守護香港，全民抗疫！

昨日中大醫學院發表聲明，提到「未來一至兩星期將會是疫情發展的關鍵時刻，必須密切留意湖北省以外是否有社區爆發的情況出現，特別是在香港鄰近地區。一旦鄰近地區出現社區爆發，屆時將很難避免病毒帶菌者進入本港，大大增加跨境慱播風險。

中大醫學院更建議及早收緊入境政策，包括建議把限制入境的範圍進一步擴大至湖北省以外的其他疫症擴散地區、加強強制檢疫 (quarantine) 及醫學監察 (medical surveillance) 等措施。

今日是公眾假期的最後一天，民陣、立法會議員、區議員正副主席認為過去幾日，政府的抗疫手段可謂非常失敗，民間紛紛自救，政府踢一腳郁一郁，落實的防疫關卡亦錯漏百出，我們與所有香港人共同要求政府封關抗疫，源頭抗毒！守護醫護！防止香港淪為疫區！

The Civil Human Rights Front, the Pan-democratic Legislative Council members and District Councils Chairs/Vice-Chairs have initiated a joint petition to urge the Hong Kong SAR government to tighten immigration policy! The Chinese University of Hong Kong Medical School has issued a statement last night (27th), urging the Hong Kong SAR Government to further tighten immigration policies to reduce the risk of cross-border viral transmission. The Civil Human Rights Front hopes that Hong Kong citizens will participate in this joint petition to demand that Hong Kong close borders, strengthen compulsory quarantine and medical supervision procedures, protect Hong Kong and fight against the epidemic!

Yesterday, The Chinese University of Hong Kong Medical School has stated that "the coming one to two weeks will be a critical time for the development of the epidemic, and we must pay close attention to the occurrence of community outbreaks outside of Hubei Province, especially within the vicinity of Hong Kong. If there is an outbreak in surrounding areas, it will make it difficult to prevent virus carriers from entering Hong Kong, greatly increasing the risk of cross-border infections.

An early tightening of Hong Kong’s entry policy is recommended by The CUHK Medical School, including proposals to further expand the scope of entry restrictions to other epidemic-prone areas outside of Hubei Province, strengthen measures such as mandatory quarantine procedures and medical surveillance.

As today marks the last day of Chinese New Year public holidays, members of the Civil Humans Rights Front and Legislative Council members believe that the government ’s anti-epidemic measures have absolutely failed throughout the past few days. Citizens have to start fending for themselves as the government has been extremely slow to respond to demands and requests, implementing problematic anti-epidemic measures. The Civil Human Rights Front and all Hong Kong people are requesting the Hong Kong SAR government to close off borders to fight the epidemic at its’ source! We need to protect our medical staff and prevent Hong Kong from becoming an infected area!
