The City of Winnipeg has decided to continue to run a reduced modified Saturday service for Winnipeg Transit. These buses continue to be overcrowded and do not allow for proper physical distancing. The Province of Manitoba Public Health put out Provincial Order #5 on May 29, 2020, which states:

Transportation ORDER 5 "Municipal public transportation services, taxis, limousines and other vehicles for hire may continue to operate if their operators have implemented measures to ensure that all passengers are able to maintain a reasonable separation from other persons in the vehicles."

We the undersigned citizens of Winnipeg want to see full public transit service reinstated which will aid Winnipeg Transit in providing a safer and more reliable service during the economic recovery as well as the ability to follow the public health order.
