The Village Of New Square has only one entrance/exit, which is the cause of daily traffic in and out of the Village. Washington Ave. (Bush Ln./Rt. 45),  is clogged daily/weekly on Friday, and its peak by any special occasion in the village with gridlocked traffic going down this year Lag Beomer till Eckerson Rd!!

New Square was established in 1954, and the same entrance that was then is still the only one 67 years later!!! Since then, no one has ever looked into the safety and accommodation of this entrance!

All New Square residents and visitors are getting all messed up because of this No Outlet problem.

Considering that this is the primary and only entrance AND exit to a village with over 8K residents(!!), this is critically menacing and has to be worked on EMERGENCY!
Lots of effort and influence have been put on the Village officials and the local government to bring the right awareness of what's going on; yet, unfortunately, there is no plan for improvement.
