Huawei (and Honor) has closed all the gates of a web page which was used by users to generate the bootloader unlock codes for their devices. Well, the company has not given any proper reason for doing the same. But until today the company was providing the bootloader unlocking codes when any user request in the Google Doc.
From today, Huawei and Honor users will not be able to unlock the device bootloader. The company has stopped proving bootloader unlocking codes completely. Both the companies Huawei and Honor have announced that the new users will no more be able to unlock the bootloader of devices. The company billing this as “to provide a better user experience”.

Huawei and Honor users are getting the following message on their devices,

“To provide better user experience and avoid issues caused by ROM flashing, the unlock code application service will be stopped for all products launched after 2018-5-24. For products released prior to this date, the service will be stopped 60 days after this announcement. Thank you for your understanding. We will continue to provide you with quality services.”

This is the major kick to the custom ROM developers. Because Android is the open source, you can play with your smartphone and install any custom ROM on your device to bring some new features as well as customization. Unlocking the bootloader can open the way to install the TWRP and install the new custom ROM.

We want bootloader unlocking for all the device. I personally love Huawei phones and that would be awesome if we get bootloader unlocking for all the Huawei devices.
