Our roots are in Arizona, and with the first ever hispanic owner in the NHL, we take pride in our originality and heritage. We are grateful for Mr. Meruelo for all that he has done in his time of being here, and most of all, for believing in us as a market.

When people think of hockey in Arizona, they think of those beautifully unique Kachina jerseys that we saw the likes of Keith Tkachuk, Jeremy Roenick, and (most notably) Shane Doan soaring around the ice in during the franchise's glory days. The current, beautiful black alternates that we have now (that the fans adore) would be even more complete accompanied by the same jersey in white. Home or away, those white Kachinas from the early 2000's were stunning, and trigger a sense of nostalgia that is almost indescribable. With new teams being added to the league, we need to embrace our traditions, and bring back the Kachinas full-time. Show the hockey world that we aren't afraid to be bold, that we are proud of our identity, & proud to be from Arizona. Current roster players such as Clayton Keller, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, and Jakob Chychrun have openly spoke about these jerseys on social media multiple times, with Chychrun even referring to them as "the best jerseys of all time." In addition, the jerseys have also won multiple contests online amongst other NHL fans. It's no secret that these jerseys are extremely popular, and we are confident that if this suggestion is taken seriously, that merchandise will fly off the shelves.

Think of a brand...think of the Redwings, the Rangers, the Blackhawks, and the Maple Leafs...those jerseys are classics burned into your mind. They are historic, and their respective franchise identities.

Now think of the big purple moon at center ice, the provocative howl after a goal was scored, the white-out, and a young (now current Maple Leafs star) Auston Matthews in the stands surrounded by Kachina jerseys. That is our identity. That's the image burned into the valleys brains when they think of Coyote hockey, and with your help, thats is the image we can keep alive under our amazing ownership consisting of majority owner Mr. Alex Meruelo and minority owner Mr. Andrew Barroway.

We ask for your consideration. Please assess the impact this can have on not only our brand, but the potential revenue stream this could bring in (merchandise and ticket sales) as well. If it helps, I request on behalf of all of those who have signed that you at least consider releasing an official poll open to the public pertaining to this. Even your recognition on the matter would mean the world to us.
