Destroy the archaic ſ (the long s)

Destroy the archaic ſ (the long s)
The Issue
Throughout history letters fight for freedom. By finding more Fs in features, F will feel freer. There are many fights, but for now let's concentrate on the foolish long s - the archaic ſ.
Historically there have been rivalries between the letters s and f. Especially has the long s - ſ - caused much concern for the most emotional followers of F. Thankfully, the decline of the long s happened long ago, but still one can see certain bearded creatures who prefer to use the long s to common s.
The farcical-yet-provocative action of using the long s, is causing consern because it looks like the small f.
We who support more Fs in the English language are worried that letters which resembles F/f will make a false impression that F/ is doing quite fine as long as other letters and characters which resembles F/f are commonly seen in English texts!
The full-blown truth however is that F is only used in 1.8121% of the letters occurring in the words listed in the main entries of the Concise Oxford Dictionary (9th edition, 1995) .
