Today Governor McMaster passed an Executive Order 2020-16, which closed public boat ramps and access points in South Carolina.
As a citizen of the United States of America and a resident of the wonderful state of South Carolina, I believe this is an infringement of my rights to access public water and participate in an outdoor activity that is healthy, that promotes social distancing, and promotes conservation of our natural resources.
I am respectfully asking Governor McMaster to please reconsider and revoke this order for the thousands of anglers in South Carolina.
