Shadows of the empire was released for the N64 on December 3rd 1996 and it is now 2020. We have been waiting for years for a remaster of this beloved classic. It is legends continuity for sure but regardless of that small gripe, the game is beloved by fans everywhere. I speak for the fans themselves when i say that this game deserves a remaster for current consoles. We don't want Multiplayer or absurdly hard achievements (no beating the game on Jedi), we just want an updated remaster that fixes issues with the original (Graphics need to be sharpened, control needs to be tightened, allow dynamic difficulty for boss fights and vehicle segments) and captures the spirit of the original (Higher quality audio of the N64 theme remastered in Dolby Digital 7.1 Surround Sound as well as sharper Video for the FMV sequences).  

The game should be optimized for 1080P, 1440p, 4k tv's and 720P. in addition, more levels from the comics and books should be added to compensate for the increased memory available to current consoles. Don't screw this up, just give us what we want and for the love of god: DON'T give it to EA. they'll just destroy it, like they destroyed Fallen Order.
