Why this petition matters

Started by Michael Blair

I, and many other people do not believe the Scottish Parliament is working properly or in the interests of Scotland as a whole. The vast amount of money it takes to run and maintain the building, and the cost of the MSP's salaries and expenses could be better used by councils directly, to improve their services and infrastructure.

Nothing has been gained in the almost 20 years since the first Scottish parliamentary elections, except division and waste.

This Parliament is not fit for purpose.
