We, the undersigned, petition GVRD to replace the 4 derelict tennis courts at Castlewood park into 16 dedicated pickleball courts. The sport of pickleball had expanded exponentially. It is extremely popular for any age group, especially 50+. It is a great opportunity for our community because we already have the facilities available. 16 pickleball courts would allow our club, working with the GVRD, to run USAPA sanctioned tournaments. These tournaments will being players from all over the bay area and beyond.
