The PUA program application process has been a complete failure to all of the hard working self employed, gig workers, freelancers, and self made business owners in Pennsylvania.
    In a time of desperation and need, every Pennsylvanian deserves a fair and clear application process to access very much needed emergency, federally allocated, unemployment benefits (most of us for the first time of our lives) in order to maintain a basic living through this pandemic. We need to put food on our tables TODAY, we need to pay our utilities & bills TODAY, and we need to provide for our children TODAY! 
    The PUA program needs to be fixed immediately. The current application process and lack of support/communication is UNACCEPTABLE in every way. Your immediate attention, resources, and swift action must be put towards this program in order to make sure all recipients are paid what they are deserved in a clear and timely manner.
   This is an injustice and a demeaning slap to the face to all self employed, gig workers, freelancers, small business owners and all Pennsylvanians and no citizen should be paying the price financially for a worldwide disaster. Fix the PUA system immediately. Time is not on our side.
