The Argonauts are the national laughing stock of the CFL. They can't win games, they can't get anyone to see their games, and Jim Popp is the main reason why the Argonauts are as bad as they are this season.

Even after firing Marc Trestman last year, the current head coach, Corey Chamblin, hasn't made things better - they've gotten worse. The defense has let through more points than ever, the offence can barely get a first down, and the whole team has just about given up. Nobody wants to play for them anymore, and it shows with their most recent performances where the team simply does not care about what is going on in the field. The future appears more and more bleak, given that nobody is going to their games anymore, and the Argonauts' rank consistently in the bottom in attendance in the CFL. A new direction is urgently needed to make the Argonauts a respectable and competitive team in the CFL, rather than simply an afterthought and a joke. 

The Argonauts matter to the City of Toronto and their fans! The dedicated fans have supported the team through thick and thin, but this season it has become evidently clear that the team is going in the completely wrong direction. It's time to take action and fire the man responsible for putting together one of the worst CFL teams in recent memory, and overhaul the leadership of the team to ensure that the team can become competitive for years to come!
