Pledge to reduce your phone time by an hour a week to connect with those around you
Why this petition matters
Today we are launching the #Lookup Campaign in hope to get people off their phones and connecting with those around them.
A recent report from OFCOM found that people claim to spend, on average, 24 hours each week online. This is almost double the amount of time in 2007 (12 hours) and the numbers are only going to increase.
More and more people are spending more of their time consumed by their phones, than connecting with the people around them.
Here at #Lookup we are aiming to raise awareness in people, both young and old of the problems and downfalls that come with excessive phone usage. We hope our campaign will make people think and even change their ways in how they use their phone in their day-to-day lives.
Please sign the petition to pledge to reduce your phone time and use it to connect with your family and friends.
