After an apple is eaten by you, if it can not be proved by effective information, then to a certain extent, its existence will be ignored, or even think it once did not exist. History seems to tell us that after the end of our lives, as an ordinary person, if we can not have reliable information to prove the meaning of our existence and the value of life, it seems that there is no difference with this apple. Yes, one of the questions that all of us will face, how can we prove to the people of the future that we ourselves existed in history?

The specificity of living organisms between humans has always been well passed down through genes, but our individual minds do not have a reliable "gene" mechanism to ensure inheritance. Only the wisdom and ideas of a few outstanding people in the human group can be passed down in libraries and museums, and they may experience war, disaster, loss, and damage. Most people are forgotten by history. Think of our relatives and elders who have passed away, and the value and significance or wisdom of life that they struggled for as ordinary people, but nobody knows. It's not that they don't want to, but that there has never been such an opportunity or way to provide reliable support. In the near future, we may still face this situation ourselves. Such a situation often makes me very frustrated and unwilling. The "right to exist" should be categorized as the most fundamental human rights requirement. Why have we been doing nothing? This is puzzling. I think people should calm down and think about the urgency, positive impact and significance of this matter to society and individuals.

Based on the above, I would like to launch a petition here. Let's work together to carry the spirit and wisdom of our life through the establishment of a permanent Information Center - "Human Inherit Information Base".

Here it will also be an important spiritual sustenance shared by you and me as well as the whole human future, regardless of belief, identity, gender and class. More importantly, only in this way can we better preserve the particularity of each of us in the course of human evolution in this vast space and time. I don't know if there is a wisdom civilization more advanced than human beings in this universe, but one thing is certain. They must have a more comprehensive and advanced inheritance mechanism or system than human beings to provide impetus for their civilization progress.

Its role can not only maintain our "right to exist", but also help promote the long-term sustainable, stable and prosperous development of human civilization ideology.

As long as there are reliable mechanisms and common beliefs as guarantees, I believe that after another 10 years, 50 years, 100 years, 500 years …, and even imagine that for another 10,000 years, it will continue to accompany the growth of human beings and escort them. In this way, ultimately ensuring that human development in the future does not create a large risk of ideological collapse. I believe that you can understand that its significance for our future must not be seen merely as a database or information carrier or it’s as simple as sharing a platform. 

Compared with traditional social applications such as Twitter, Facebook and Wechat, the "Human Heritage Information Base" is different: The former is a one-way connection between the sharer and the successor and the thought inheritance of the living to the deceased, while the latter is to strengthen the exchange of information and interpersonal communication between people; the former is a non-profit organization formed by volunteers, while the latter is a private organization for commercial profit; the former is responsible to everyone, while the latter is responsible to customers; The former, after the sharer's death, the data will be properly preserved and never deleted and dedicated to the inheritance of ideas, while the latter retains the data that may be removed or abused after the user dies; So the difference between the two is obvious.
