So LAUSD (Los Angeles Unified School District) informed the South East Senior high School Band that we are losing our band director and they are not telling us why. As students we don’t want to see our band director go without a fight. We have all grown to love him and care for him and wish to continue our days in band with him as our leader. He has spent time and money on our band and program altogether, he helped us grow our band, helped many of us as individual musicians, and became apart of our family which helped us grow as people and adults. Growing a connection with him as a person and family member and having that person taken away from us for no reason is not fair and we will not stand for it at all. We want to fight to keep our teacher who we love and care about. Please sign our petition to keep our band director. Thank you for your time.
